In 2005 the City of Saskatoon adopted a bylaw to ban smoking on all outdoor patios of restaurants and bars. Would you support such a bylaw in Regina?
YES YES* NO NO NO UNDECIDED
COMMENTS: Thanks for the opportunity to answer the Canadian Cancer Society questionnaire. I've received over a dozen of such questionnaires through out the campaign and have steered away from answering those that have yes/no questions. My immediate family has been touched by cancer and I support the work that the Society does. I do support no-smoking legislation as it relates to the rights of servers.

Do you support a city bylaw that would ban the use of pesticides for cosmetic purposes on all city and private property?
YES YES* NO NO NO UNDECIDED
COMMENTS: Pesticide use in Regina is something that I want to work to change if elected to council, but given the track record of past efforts, I'm not convinced a full ban is possible at this time. What I do believe is possible is to get the city and Wascana Centre Authority on board. If we can change the city's own pesticide use, it will hopefully be a step towards a full ban in the future.
